53: Lisa Consiglio Ryan on clean eating and loving your body

Our episode this week is filled with wonderful tips from nutrition coach and author Lisa Consiglio Ryan. From the tender age of 8, Lisa struggled with an unhealthy relationship with food, compounded by her family’s penchant for fast food. By her late 20’s, she’d tried every diet in the book, and was severely restricting what she ate. The resulting health conditions propelled her to look into alternative therapies, and her holistic journey towards a healthier life began. She’s completely changed her relationship with food, and one of her inspiring mottos is “Treat yourself like you’re sacred”.
Lisa now helps thousands of women cleanse and detox their bodies thanks to her Renewal Ten Day Detox Programs, which have featured in Fitness Mag, Tiny Buddha, Fox News, Mind Body Green, as well as Kris Carr’s Crazy Sexy Life. Her year-long program Clean & Sexy is a 4 times a year cleanse and includes clean eating plans and group calls.
